Creative Processes - Tool for City Market 2013 Teacher: Matthew Emmett Design, make and test a measuring tool to record and analyse the Plymouth City Market. In my case, the tool is focused on the history of the market. To do this, I did a search of old photographs of the market and I made a comparison with today. The function of the tool is to locate the different points from where the old photos were taken in order to realize the passage of time. |
To do this, the transparencies were performed with pieces of old photos that along with the tool, it will be held search activity.
The support makes stand firm transparency inside the camera. The camera was made with this size and form to have better vision and thereby obtain a better perception of space. For his functioning we introduce the transparency in the support and in turn this on camera. The transparency is placed facing toward to the smallest aperture of the camera. Looking through the camera will see a combination of the transparency and reality of the Plymouth market. |

For this photograph, all the objects that were worn when the photo was taken were placed positioning them in a orderly way according to the size and in which object they were contained, like a kind of game of “matrioskas”. |
